Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Lafayette

What a bargain! The food was great. Our waitress Chelsea was spectacular. We had left over on a meal that cost half of what it would have cost at a competitor! The southern fried chicken lunch was like home cooking.

Decent food. LOVE the little shop. Doing a great job of trying to keep it as clean as possible.

Food came fast and was great. Portions vary in size for the same exact dishes but still good !

Food delicious, wait staff friendly and attentive, using Covid -19 precautions. Manager walking around and making sure everyone was good. I would certainly go back.

The food was delicious! The wait for a table was long, probably due to Covid 19, but the customer service was exceptional! They didn't mind us leaving to pick up a few items from the store while waiting for a table. They texted us when one was available, and that made up for it!

From California, just moved to Lafayette recently and wow this food was delicious, the prices were so low, the hostesses and servers were very kind and helpful. All around great place, would definitely recommend that chicken with maple glaze and bacon, my god delicious.

Food was good but service was somewhat slow. I also asked if catfish came with hush puppies and was told yes but the meal didn't come with them. And when did you stop putting white gravy on mashed potatoes?!?! That was a huge heartbreak and I may not come back due to it.

The breakfast was inexpensive and delicious. The staff all were very warm and friendly. The associate in the store was extremely good with customer service. She helped me find the perfect gifts for my daughter and granddaughter.

Elaine was amazing! There were six of us at breakfast this morning. She took her time to get our meals right, our food came out very quickly. Anything we asked for she was right on top of it. She treated us like real people and not like she was at some job. We will be asking for Elaine from now on. This type of customer service is what we needed this morning. Thank you Elaine.

We stop on the way to Myrtle Beach, the prices ridiculously cheap for this much delicious and good food!

Stopped for lunch at Cracker Barrel in Lafayette, IN. I had the fried chicken dinner and it was delicious! Four pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, turnip greens and biscuits for $10.49 was a deal! Our server Courtney was excellent. Noticed other servers were maybe retired men. Great idea. They all seemed very efficient. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Wait was no time, waitress was friendly and very well trained! She served our drinks and food in a short period of time! Food was served as ordered and hot! We were asked about our food and drinks, also greatest everytime with an eager voice of service and a smile! Just a great lunch with my aunt! Thank you!

Took my Young Beautiful Bride out for a date and ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel in Lafayette. Absolutely love this place, Great food, Delightful people and Wonderful atmosphere.

We ate there yesterday. Lafayette Indiana the menu has changed oh, not the stores fault of course. I think they have really skimped on the ingredients for the old-time recipes. The green beans did not appear to have any of the Smoky flavor or onions in them. Very limited menu. Food just did not taste the same. So sad, I used to really like Cracker Barrel

Good country cooking with a restaurant touch. Also, they have a country store attached for things that remind you of country life.

My go-to stop in Lafayette. Great service. The waiter (who's name I sadly forgot) made my daughters roses out of napkins. Prompt service & checked in on us frequently, even after delivering the check! I'll always pop-in here for steak & eggs when I'm in the area. Couldn't have had a better experience. 💝

On a cold, rainy day, it’s always nice to know that a hot plate of roast beef is ready, at a Cracker Barrel.
